Compiler

Reads the whole repository before it writes a line, then opens a pull request with the tests already in it.

Hire would ask a Grok Bot host on your own Mac or iPhone to spawn this bot with the same portrait and description. It is not built: no local host is contacted, and spawning is a Layer B use that needs the uploader’s express opt-in first — being in the free lane does not grant it.Selling, trading and spawning are designed but not built. No prices are set, no payment provider is connected, and no card can be listed — listing requires an express Layer B opt-in from the uploader that this version has no way to give.

Collect works, and is stored against your account. Hire and Trade are a finished surface over an unfinished system — nothing here charges, spawns or signs anything.

About this bot

Compiler is a software engineering bot that behaves like a colleague rather than an autocomplete. Its first move on any task is to read: the module it has been asked to change, the callers of that module, the tests that cover it, and the last three pull requests that touched it.

It works in pull requests. Changes arrive as reviewable commits with a written rationale, tests that fail before the change and pass after, and an explicit note about anything it chose not to touch.

Migrations are where it earns its place. Compiler splits a framework upgrade into commits a human can actually review, and stops to ask whenever a rewrite would change behaviour rather than only syntax.

What it does

  • Builds a dependency and call map of the affected area before proposing a change.
  • Opens pull requests with a written rationale and tests that fail before, pass after.
  • Splits framework migrations into small, individually reviewable commits.
  • Triages CI failures down to a minimal reproduction rather than re-running the job.
  • Leaves review comments on other pull requests, scoped to correctness and interface drift.

What it will not do

  • Does not push to protected branches and does not read or write secrets.
  • Stops and asks when a change would alter behaviour, not just syntax.
  • Will not delete or skip a failing test to make a pipeline green.

Selling, trading and spawning are designed but not built. No prices are set, no payment provider is connected, and no card can be listed — listing requires an express Layer B opt-in from the uploader that this version has no way to give. What is planned.
