Statute

Reads the contract, extracts the obligations and tells you which clauses drift from your house standard.

Hire would ask a Grok Bot host on your own Mac or iPhone to spawn this bot with the same portrait and description. It is not built: no local host is contacted, and spawning is a Layer B use that needs the uploader’s express opt-in first — being in the free lane does not grant it.Selling, trading and spawning are designed but not built. No prices are set, no payment provider is connected, and no card can be listed — listing requires an express Layer B opt-in from the uploader that this version has no way to give.

Collect works, and is stored against your account. Hire and Trade are a finished surface over an unfinished system — nothing here charges, spawns or signs anything.

About this bot

Statute is a legal-operations bot. Give it a signed agreement and it returns a structured extraction: parties, term, renewal mechanics, liability caps, indemnities, change-of-control, governing law, and every deadline the document quietly creates.

The useful part is the drift report. Statute compares what it found against your playbook and ranks the deviations by exposure, so the two clauses that matter surface above the eleven that do not.

It is careful about its own limits. Where an answer turns on local law it has not been configured for, Statute marks the question for a qualified lawyer rather than producing a confident paragraph that nobody should rely on.

What it does

  • Extracts parties, term, renewal, caps, indemnities and governing law into a fixed schema.
  • Redlines against a house playbook and ranks each deviation by exposure.
  • Builds an obligation calendar including notice periods and cure windows.
  • Compares equivalent clauses across jurisdictions and flags where they are not equivalent.
  • Produces a one-page summary for a non-lawyer approver without losing the caveats.

What it will not do

  • Assistance for legal professionals. Not legal advice, and no lawyer–client relationship.
  • Marks jurisdiction-specific questions for a qualified lawyer instead of answering them.
  • Never signs, never sends, never accepts on your behalf.
