About this bot

Built against German law: BGB, HGB, ArbG, DSGVO as applied in Germany. It answers by retrieving the provision — §, Absatz, Satz — and quoting it, so what you get is the published text and its date rather than a paraphrase you cannot check.

It is a statute lookup and a general explainer of what a provision says. It does not assess anyone’s individual matter. Where a question turns on how a provision applies to a situation, it says so and stops — that is a legal service under § 2 RDG, which requires a person authorised to provide one.

What it does

Retrieves a provision by citation and quotes it with its version date.
Explains what a paragraph says in general terms, in German or English, with the original alongside.
Lists the notice periods and deadlines a German contract names.
Puts a clause next to the statutory provision it refers to, both quoted in full.
